Eddie Bance

Eddie is an Industrial Electronics engineer and member of the IEEE . Eddie's experience in the high tech sales industry spans nearly thirty years, the latter, as a full board member of the AV distribution specialists Steljes Limited; a company well known for innovative thinking and pioneering new products and concepts. Eddie was particularly instrumental in the growth of the rental and eventing side of the business to record levels and delivering new and exciting products and ideas, to both the corporate and trade sector. Previously, ten years were spent with ATS Technirent, a member of the Brewton Group of companies, and as a consultant working with a SUN Microsystems sponsored rental partner. In addition Eddie has held several high level posts including the American company SST Limited, Systain Limited, MBS and Entre Computacentre.

Eddie brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise and industry contacts to Visionpoint Touch Screens Limited.

Alan Hopkins

Alan started his career in retail management, he swiftly moved into the FMCG business with Imperial Tobacco, looking after many of the company's larger accounts. A change in to the exciting and rapidly expanding Consumer Electronics market saw Alan working for Pioneer Hi-Fidelity (GB) Limited, an innovative and technically advanced Japanese manufacturer of hi-end audio and visual products, where he held many different positions including Head of Sales and Marketing for the UK. More recently Alan worked at Amstrad Plc heading up "New Innovative Products" and more latterly as Marketing Director working directly for Sir Alan Sugar on his many new projects.

Alan has wide ranging expertise in Sales, Marketing, Advertising and AV products.

Bruce Warmer

With degrees in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Bruce is a trained software engineer with a specialist experience in software modelling and CASE tools. In 1992 Bruce formed SoftCASE Consulting with a business partner, to provide software development consultancy and bespoke CASE tool development using meta-CASE technologies. SoftCASE Consulting created modelling tools for a number of companies, including N&P Building Society, Swiss Post, and SSA Inc, and provided software consultancy to a number of local, national and international organisations.

Bruce has a great deal of experience in software development, managing software development teams, and running companies.

Paul Stracey

Paul started his career in the television industry repairing domestic TVs. After a short while, using this knowledge, he worked for GEC-Marconi on two key projects: the GEC-Marconi Heli-Tele, a broadcast standard television surveillance system designed for mounting on a helicopter; and ultrasonic's used within intelligent torpedoes. Moving away from the defense industry into the telecommunications sector, Paul specialised in interfacing hardware with software, working for Ericsson in Stockholm, Sweden, and AT&T (Lucent Technologies) in Oklahoma, USA, amongst others. As the telecoms market changed Paul moved into the automotive industry, working on electronic power steering for Motorola in Ange, France, and engine management systems for Magneti Marelli in Italy. With this combined expertise in hardware and software he worked on contract for a number of companies as a "turnaround" specialist, often called in at the "12th hour". Such companies included Bofors in Jabalpur, India, Samsung in Suwon, South Korea and Hyundai in Gumi, South Korea. More recently Paul has worked for a small company that specialised in IT internet and intranet security.

Paul has an extensive knowledge of both hardware and software which is a great asset in the audio visual industry.
